I got a refund from merchant , however my credit card account is closed

HI , I got a refund from my merchant on a purchased however my credit card account is closed and i am unable to received the refund. I had check with the merchant and they insist that the refund had went thru but upon checking with my bank they informed that the refund  cannot be received as the account is closed . Anyone can help me on it

I understand that your query is regarding a refund in your PayPal account. Once a refund is processed, the money is sent back to the payment method used for the original purchase. If the card/bank is closed then you need to contact the card issuer and get the funds in your active card/bank account.For account-specific assistance, you can contact Customer Support by clicking 'Contact' at the bottom of any PayPal page. Support is also available if you send a DM to @AskPayPal on Twitter or a PM to facebook.com/PayPal.
