I cancelled my PayPal pay in 3 order immediately and haven’t received the money back

I ordered something through PayPal pay in 3 and then realised I ordered the wrong item. I cancelled the order immediately and haven’t received the money back for the order. How long will it take for the transaction to be refunded.

If you cancelled it with the merchant then did they issue you a refund?

Does it show the refund as completed or pending in your paypal account?
