I want to add money to my Steam wallet, but it doesn't work. If I try other websites, to buy something with PayPal it won't work.

Do you have any limitations?

Have you confirmed your email address?

Have you purchased before?

What funding source are you using?

Is it confirmed?

Are the funds in the correct currency?

Does the name and billing address of your funding source exactly match your paypal account?

You have a Belgium paypal account so are you located in that country?

Not sure what you mean with limitations.

I have confirmed my email.

I have made purchases before.

I put funds on PayPal using my creditcard.

Yes, it is confirmed.

Yes, I use Euro on my steam account.

Yes, I have used same name and address on both Steam and PayPal.

I am in Belgium.

The name and address have to be the same on your funding source and paypal account not Steam account neccessarily.

However if you are using funds you have uploaded to your paypal balance instead of just having it debited from your linked card or bank account then that may be an issue when you purchase 'virtual or digital content' so have you had a message asking you to link a card to make the purchase?

For steam it just says their was a problem (it's in a small yellow pop up window)

 

If I try another website, it goes to the "getting your wallet" message and ends with

"there was a problem, check your account or contact us" message
