My first dealings with Paypal! 7 days of back and forth to release money I need to desperately fulfill a service. No wonder the stock price is absolutely tanking xD I hope it goes under when Stripe IPOs. ANYWAY:

It's basically impossible to prove that I fulfilled a service so I tried to just refund my client and use stripe, but the refund is "processing" lmao what does that even mean. It should b3e instant right

please help I just want to get out and delete my account i hate this so much

Pending refunds can only happen for two reasons.

1. The seller has issued a refund from their bank account which takes time to process.

2. You funded the payment to the seller using bank transfer. What PayPal do here is credit the recipient on your behalf (so there is no delay in despatching your item). Then if you receive a refund in the meantime they are unable to issue this until the original bank transfer completes.
