After reading the help section and searching community messages I'm still not clear on the extent of the exchange of personal details that is part of receiving payments. The situations is as follows:
- I have a personal paypal account connected to my credit card and bank account
- Aside from a namebased email adress I also have a secondary address , not based on personal information, connected to my account.
- I don't send out an invoice or similar. It's small payments as a form of tips/gifts and I'd prefer to share as little personal detail about myself.
If I understand correctly, someone can send money to my wallet just by knowing that secondary address. If someone does, will that person see any other information about me or my paypal account (other than that email address) in for example his bank statement or email confirmation?
I'd appreciate it a lot if anyone could provide me with clarity on this matter.
