How to receive a payment made is USD directly is EUR?

Hello!

I live in Italy, so my currency is EUR.

I have an American client who send me payment in USD. The point is that when I issue the invoice I have to specify the amount received just in EUR, no USD.

Is it possible to change the settings so that even if my client pays me in USD I can receive the money on Paypal already in EUR? Without having to convert the currency myself?

If you invoice them in Euros they should pay in Euros.

I would refund anyone that didn't and tell me to pay in my currency.

Unofrtunately they want a first "pro-forma" in USD, otherwise they will not send the payment.

In Italy, I can issue the proforma how I want to, because it's not considered an official documento.

We have to issue a so-called "electronic invoice" (official invoice) when we receive the payment, and this second one must be in EUR.

For example, for another client I issue the proforma in USD, they pay me on my bank account, so I receive the money directly in EUR and I can issue the electronic invoice indicatins this EUR amount.

I was wondering if there is a way to receive the payment on Papyal directly in EUR...

Just to be sure, as far as I understand, if I disable USD and keep only EUR as currency, my client can still pay me in USD but I will see the amount directly in EUR, correct?
