How one aligns an exsisting PayPal debit card to a new app.

My app has my friends name on it and it is unconnected to an exsisting PayPal debit card with my name on it. I am getting paid toy email, but the funds did not get deposited into my card. There seems to be no information how to link them. Help please!!!

Welcome! Thanks for visiting PayPal's Community Forum. I'm sorry to hear there's some confusion when receiving money to your PayPal account. First, if it shows your friends name when you login to your PayPal app, it sounds like your friend may have used your phone and logged into your PayPal app. I'd recommend logging out of the app and logging into your account. If you don't see the payment you're expecting to receive at that point, please reach out to our Customer Support teams for further assistance.
