How do I add the cost of the swipe fee to a charitable donation?

I use PayPal for charitable donations. The charity will frequently ask me to add the cost of the transactional or swipe fee for the credit card to the donation (for example, make my donation $102 instead of $100). But when I donate, PayPal doesn't include the additional amount. How do I fix this? TYIA.

Hi @Fantine56,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the PayPal forum! I'm sorry to hear that the amount that is charged to you is not matching the amount of your donation with the added amount that the charity is asking for. It is possible that the added amount is charged as a separate transaction. Please check for that. If it is not and the amount is not reflected at all in any transaction, the charity's website may not be appropriately set up to add the amounts together. The organization to which you are donating would have to check their own site.
I hope this is helpful!
Olivia
