I wanted to gift someone money. I didn't realize there was a separate option for that. PayPal is holding the money until I confirm I've received goods or services but they won't let me confirm right now. Is there any way around this? It was kind of an urgent situation I was sending the money for.
If your recipient marks the transaction as processed then you may have the option on your account to mark the transaction as delivery/satisfied. If you confirm this by clicking on the "Confirm Receipt" button, the funds may be released sooner ie 7 days after confirming receipt. This is not always available or guaranteed. If not then sadly its 21 days.
