I wanted to purchase a game code from Kinguin. I added the item to my shopping cart and left the site open for a few hours before logging into paypal and adding my debit bank card there. After that I went to pay the order and it would simply take me back to the shopping cart site. While I got a notification on my paypal account, saying the payment was preauthorized, it did not even open an order on Kinguin. I messaged their support and they told me to cancel the payment with paypal. How can I cancel this preauthorized payment? I cant find anything and I dont want to lose my money.
When you pay a company (rather than an ebay seller or individual), then it is often pending until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment.
If they don't process that order and capture the pending payment then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment.
