Hold on payment and wondering how long it will take to get the funds

Hi there. I was commissioned for a digital picture and my payment was sent from the customer. It’s on hold since I haven’t used PayPal in awhile. I requested my money sooner, but since it’s a digital service there’s no tracking,etc. How long does it take to get the funds after requesting? Thank you
