Hi, I need to send money from South Africa to USA in a personal capacity for my daughter. Is there a way to do this using Paypal? Doesn't seem that I can get money into PayPal from my personal bank account in SA? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

You do not need to add money in order to send money with PayPal.

When you send the money, you can select a linked payment method as the funding source during checkout. You may have to link a card to pay if the linked bank account cannot be used.

Thanks for the response, unfortunately I may be missing something. Soon as I click send, i get to the below page that only allows me to draw from my PayPal wallet

There is multiple steps in order to send money.

Enter an amount and enter a note first, then click Next.

On the next page, the available payment methods you linked to PayPal Wallet will show.

Note: You might be able to “top up” or add money to PayPal through your FNB Online Banking profile/account or the FNB app:
