Awaiting a refund from Airbnb. Have provided the payment details made to Airbnb and also the chat transcript where Airbnb have authorised the refund. Airbnb has also sent the refund to Paypal who are refusing to return my money to me. I have provided all of this information. How can Paypal legally do this, surely this is fraudulent? I have lodged a dispute with my bank now and they will be getting this back as we have all documentation approving refund. Anyone else ever had Paypal refuse to give refund even when they already have it from the supplier? Sounds like they are lining their own pockets.
