Friends & family?

Has the "friends & family" option disappeared? When I try to make a payment on my laptop, using Safari, the transaction goes straight to payment without an "friends & family" option. Until recently, I was able to do it using my iPhone - now the option has disappeared from that platform as well.

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry you're unable to see the Friends & Family option. After a bit of research, you should have the option to send payments as a Friends & Family payment as long as the recipient can receive it. Are you able to send that kind of payment to other users? If not, it sounds like your recipient may not be able to receive that payment option.
