Forgotten how to switch off Credit Card subscription fee auto renewal

Last year I made a credit card payment to a forum which turned out to on auto-renewal. Did the research: contacted the forum admin that I wanted it switched off and they agreed to do it. At the same time I found the Paypal card switch and turned the renewal off ahead of them but cannot remember just what I did. Today I cancelled my streaming service and obtained a refund but cannot see how to switch off their credit card debit. So how come I could switch off the forums Paypal renewal but cannot see a way switch of the streaming service's credit card debit authorization?

Hello @qgSeIrcioD

Welcome back to the PayPal Help Community and thanks for posting your question here! I see you're looking to turn off the auto renewal set up from your PayPal account. Here's the article with the steps on how to cancel the direct debit from your PayPal account : What is a direct debit and how do I update or cancel one?

I hope this information helps you,

The article refers to Settings and Wallet which do not contain the selections advised.

Was the GUI changed making the linked article out of date?

Hello @qgSeIrcioD

Thanks for reaching back out!

I apologize that the instructions didn't match what was in your PayPal account. I just did some testing, and it looks like the directions in the Help Center article match both the current website UI and the PayPal Mobile App. If they're still not showing up correctly for you, I would try clearing your cache and cookies on your preferred browser and your App's cache in your phone's app settings.

If they're still not showing up after that, please do not hesitate to reach out to Customer Support for assistance through one of these options

I hope this helps; have a lovely rest of your day!
