Yesterday I withdraw my money to bank. Then I was imagining what if I entered 2 wrong digits in my 16 digit linked Bank.. Can it be owned by someone else? Can the money be received by someone else?

Hello @Yww

I am sorry for the trouble caused. I am requesting you check the payment details on your activity log, if the status is marked as completed or sent that means the payment has been processed successfully, in this case, you can try to contact the recipient and request a refund or you can reach your financial institution and try to file a claim on that payment. If the status is marked as failed/expired/voided that means the transaction got denied and the funds will get reversed to your original funding source within 3-5 business days.
I hope this helps.

Hi @Yww

Thank you for your post! I'm sorry to hear of your concern that your withdrawal to bank might encounter a difficulty. I think that @Madhubala1 intended to provide information regarding your issue, but was mistaken about the nature of the problem. I'll be happy to help!

When you linked the bank account, were you able to confirm it? If so, it is unlikely that the number was entered incorrectly. If the bank account number is in fact invalid, the withdrawal should bounce back after 5-10 or so business days. If you do believe that the number was entered incorrectly and you do not see the funds return in that time, you can contact PayPal Customer Service to request that the withdrawal be investigated. You can find your contact options by clicking Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website.

I hope this is able to be resolved quickly!

Olivia

Thank you so much, Olivia. I entered the card number instead of the bank. Yes, it came back because of the error occurred while on the process and it charged me with a return fee. 😊
