Email from Paypal saying I made a purchase I did not make.

Received an email from PAYPAL saying I had purchased an order from Coinbase Global for a large sum of money on 10/22/2021. Says it may appear on my statement as PayPal Coinbase in 24 hours. The email says it came from Paypal but the number it gives to call is a personal email. Anyone else had this happen?

 I understand your concern regarding the notification that you have received. In this case, I would recommend you log in to your PayPal account to see if there are any unauthorized transactions on the account. If there are any, please report them by following the details in this help center article. If not, kindly forward the email to spoof@paypal.com.
