Echeck Payment

I received and echeck payment and still in pending. I do not want to received any echeck payments in the future, if I change my preference and block the echeck payments, will I still receive the pending money from my friend? Or should I wait before I change my settings?

If you block echeques then any friends that send you funds will have to fund it via a card and pay a fee.
