Do international dates affect subscriptions?

Hi

I have just had my first client pay via paypal subscription in Australia.
It does not seem to have actually charged them yet? Do international dates come into play with subscriptions?

If they funded the subscription via a bank account then they are never instant, paypal credits the seller upfront and then paypal waits for the echeque to process through to paypal, funds leave their bank account from a few hours up to a few days later.
