I have Two Gift Cards that were denied when I tried using them to send money to another user. How do I fix this? I tried to send money to a friend using a gift card in my wallet but it got denied. Then I tried with a different gift card and it was also denied. It just says "There’s an issue with this payment method. Contact your bank to get more details or use another form of payment." Could it be that I'm sending money to someone in Canada? I then tried to add money from the gift card to my Paypal Balance but that didn't work either, saying it was denied. What do I do?
Currency could well be an issue as gift card currencies would not be able to be changed for the recipient to be able to receive that currency.
Secondly Paypal does not accept all cards so you may get the message the card is declined. If the Visa you are trying to add is virtual or issued online you may need to try another card.
