Currency changes when invoice integration is being paid by client.

I am using Dubsado, an invoice integrated platform to send invoices to clients which give them an option to pay with their CC or paypal. I recently switched my business account from CAD to EURO because I'm now operating out of the EU.

Example of what my clients experience:

Invoice total = €2000

After following Paypal link to pay invoice total = $2000

The invoice hasn't converted the total into CAD, it's just taken the number amount and replaced the euro with CAD, rather than converting the total EURO amount into CAD.

I have no idea how to fix this. Perhaps it's an issue inside Dubsado? Or maybe I need to open a different Paypal business account that is registered in the EU?

The question is urgent. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You should really withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts / cancel any subscriptions and close the old Paypal account before you move countries. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved and may need to contact customer services for help to resolve things.

You can however in most countries add a U.S bank account (not card) to your paypal account. This is because paypal is a U.S company and allows that option for U.S Paypal account holders working in other countries.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
