I've already linked by bank account with Paypal.

I can only see option to transfer funds from my wallet to bank account but not the other way. I want to transfer funds from bank account to Paypal wallet. But I don't see the option. I tried everything - web & mobile app but no couldn't find a way.

Can someone please help? Did paypal remove that feature? Hidden it?

The option to add funds to a paypal balance is not available in every country, if you only have the withdraw funds option then you are in one of those countries.

However you never need funds in your Paypal account balance as a buyer. When you purchase an item then Paypal credit the seller for you, this is so there is no delay in the despatch of your item. Paypal will then take the wait for the funds to automatically transfer to reimburse them from your linked funding source of a bank account or card.

Thanks for the prompt reply, @kernowlass.

I want to transfer funds from US bank to another (international transfer). I'm not in US, the debit card expired & online banking isn't an option (bank limitations). When checked with the US bank, they confirmed its possible to transfer funds by international transfer via Paypal.

I've both the accounts linked on Paypal. My idea was to transfer the funds from US bank to Paypal wallet & from wallet to my preferred international bank.

Are there any other options in Paypal to achieve this goal to make an international bank transfer?

Hello @huihuang,

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting!

I understand that you would like to make a international transfer! Unfortunately, the option to add funds in your region is currently not available as mentioned by @kernowlass. However, if you have a certain amount of balance in your PayPal account then you can go ahead and send an international payment [Goods and Services option]. But, if you wish to transfer it to your own international bank then that wouldn't be possible. Transfer/Withdrawal of funds is only eligible to linked US bank, local bank or a Visa Card only and the funds cannot be transferred to any other financials. Regrettably, the option to  withdraw or transfer from PayPal to international bank is not allowed.

Regards,
Ayesha

Thank you so much.

I have another question.

I have some USD and AUD in my paypal account, I want to transfer some USD to my bank account in US. Can I first exchange the AUD to USD, and then do the transfer?

Hello @huihuang

Thank you for writing in the PayPal Help Community!

I see you're looking to withdraw your funds in USD to your bank account from your PayPal account. When you withdraw money from your PayPal account, the funds will be automatically converted to the local currency of your country. Here's the article with the information about managing currencies in your PayPal account : How do I manage my currencies in PayPal?

Have a great day!

I have two currencies in my wallet - USD & AUD. I don't want to make two transfers to the bank. Is there any way to make one transfer in which the amount from my USD wallet & AUD wallet gets transferred to the US bank?

Hi @huihuang

Welcome back!

There isn't an option to transfer two different currencies at one time. You'd either have to make two separate withdrawals or convert your AUD into USD first. You can learn how to convert currencies in our Help Center here. For any account-specific inquiries or help with converting currency and withdrawing, feel free to reach out to Customer Support

I hope you have a lovely rest of your week!
