Checking payment status without an account

Hi, I paid for a service online and had the choice of paying my either PayPal or credit card. Although I have a PayPal account I decided to pay by credit card and i did so from my card, . Is there a way I can check the status of a payment

also can i link it with to my paypal account  Many thanks

You would need to reach out to the merchant for status of your order.

If you don't already have a paypal account then you could open one with the same email address/card details you used to pay the seller and it may show up on your account OR ask customer services to add it for you? However if you already have a paypal account and didn't use it then they may not be able to add it for you but if there are any issues you can reach out to them and ask them to open a dispute for you.
