Change currency in Paypal app transfer

Hi all.

I have my local bank account with local currency connected to Paypal. Like everyone.

But I also have some other currencies like Euro's and Dollar's on my Paypal. For easily paying things outside of my country.

When I send money on the Paypal APP on android, it does not allow me to change the currency.

So it wants to transfer Euro's from my local currency bank account. Even though I have actual Euro's to pay it.

But when I log onto Paypal in a browser and send money, I can simply change the currency to Euro. So it will use the Euro's on my paypal instead of the local currency bank account.

Why is this? Why wont the paypal APP let me change currency when sending money?

Sorry just realised that last time I helped you and gave you 'accurate' advice you told me it was ridiculous, didn't say thank you for the information and didn't leave kudos or a solution. So forgive me if I remove my advice on this one.

others here may need your knowledge, like me. I sure would appreciate your help to figure this out. I transferred a large sum of money out of USD into Philippine PHP. How can I remove the PHP to spend it in the Philippines and not have to lose currency value by exchanging it back into USD?

I see you're looking to covert your PHP balance to USD currency. There will be a charge when you convert your balance to another currency and the conversion rate will be displayed at the time of conversion.
