I made a mistake on refund amount to a customer. Right now refund is still waiting. Refund authorization came from Shopify to PayPal. I have the authorization key info. Is it possible to cancel refund process at this point and if so how can I do that? Thanks in advance!

I do understand your concern with this. Unfortunately, once a refund has been issued the amount cannot be changed. You also won't have the option to cancel it I'm afraid.
I would suggest you contact your buyer. If they are willing, they may send you the amount owed back to you. Please remember to double check the amount before issuing refunds in the future.
