Cancelling an automatic payment

I'm trying to cancel an automatic payment in Setting, Payments, Manage Automatic Payments and then the relevant payment, but when I choose the option to cancel, the screen freezes and nothing happens. Has anyone found a way around this problem?

I am also trying to cancel some automatic payments, but when I click on the cancel button, something flashes in the screen, then I get a greyed out screen, so it has not cancelled it. Very frustrating, to say the least...
