Can someone set up their account to receive only friends and family?

Can someone set up their PayPal to only receive friends and family and not the insured button

You have a business account so you can only accept goods/services payments. Business accounts can't receive friends/family payments only receive them.

You can open or downgrade to a personal account when you would be able to receive both goods/services AND friends/family.

However do not use friends/family payments for selling goods OR services as its against paypal rules. They regularly check that type of payment and if they see you are using it to receive payments for goods or services then you could get a permanent ban.
