Welcome to the community and thank you for your post.

Yes, you can use your card and PayPal balance combined to make a purchase. Your PayPal balance is automatically set as your primary funding source. 

Your PayPal balance will always be taken first (unless you choose not to), and then rest will be charged to your chosen bank/card.
