You can receive funds on a personal account in the U.K regardless of the type of account the other person has.

I understand your concern about the transactions. Yes, you should be able to send and receive payments from your Personal account to Business account. PayPal Business account can accept payments and make payments too. If you have any issues with the transaction, you can report the charges through the Resolution Center to request a refund, once our Concerned team reviews the case, they will get back to you with an update regarding the same via email/ Resolution Center.
