Hell, I want to make sure if my account is ready to receive payments from merchants (like online book stores). I'm going to hock my PayPal email account to some online publishers and want to make sure there is no problem in receiving payments. My account is very old (has been on for over 20 yrs). But I don’t use it for my online payments for the following issue: Last time when I tried for example to connect my PayPal account to Draft2Digital to receive payments for my books, it didn't work! And I had to switch to Payoneer then. The message I usually get from the other party paying me is "PayPal has denied your payment with reason code 14764 (Regularity Review-Blocked). You will need to contact PayPal directly to fix this issue with your account." Please advise!
Its a Business account that is based in Egypt country.

Hello, I just received a phone call from the customer service; they are confirming that my account is working well to send/receive payments, and the error message I got in the past was from the merchant side. We also tested my account during the call, and everything seems fine. As it turned to be merchant issue, I will close this case or mark it as solved. Thanks everyone thanks PayPal.
Also two more tips for Egyptian users to receive funds: 1. Use Visa not MasterCards for withdrawal. 2. Use a US bank account. Any of these two options should work. Also business accounts are preferred over personal accounts when receiving funds.
Certain Egyptian banks in Egypt don't work with PayPal or are blocking transactions through PayPal. Mostly the governmental banks. It's advised to use QNB, Faisal and Egypt Post Visas. They are known to work fine. I'm sure there are more others too like NBK and Ahli United Bank.
Best regards

It means its OK to receive payments, but in reality it's not happening! Like the example I have given with Draft2Digital payment issue. Something is wrong!

Was it a U.S bank opened on U.S soil?
Only you can't add a virtual U.S bank account like Wise or Payoneer as it won't be supported.
So maybe you don't know how things work. If you did then you would not be asking questions on here and then when someone tries to help state 'you know how things work'.
