Can I pay a seller via PayPal face to face - caravan purchase.

I’m in Australia. Keen to purchase a caravan over this Easter weekend but have no access to bank for bank cheque or cash. Was wondering if I could pay via PayPal to seller when we are there to view/collect caravan? Looking at around $35k- will PayPal allow it? Thanks

However be careful as if the seller is new OR paypal need to do a security review the funds may not 'clear' straightaway and so the seller may not want you to take the item before funds are cleared. Also be aware there is no paypal buyer protection for items that are personally delivered or collected.
