Blocking money, 21 days

I'd better ask up front, will paypal take my money for 21 days on payment if I have the account as personal? I'm asking for an incoming payment.

The new seller hold applies to all account types if you are using paypal to sell goods or services.

They don't block the payment, they put it on hold and it can be released earlier if you provide a tracking number as per links.

This i understand. Im not using paypal as seller. I have personal account and payment which i want received will be personal as well (no payment for any services, goods or whatever). Only before I do that I need to know if they will block this money for a month. If so I will cancel here and use another service.

Are the senders sending the funds using the friends/family option OR the goods/services option OR are you sending them a money request / invoice OR a paypal.me link???

I create request money link. Pay Pal support is not availaible now. So it is reason why im asking there.

A money request is a goods/services payment so you would be seen as a seller and probably be subject to the new seller hold.

If you are not selling either goods or any service then either the sender needs to send a payment using the friends/family option to your paypal email address or mobile number if using the app OR you can send a paypal.me link that they don't tick to mark it goods/services.

Use the f/f option and not g/s and the most you will have is a 24 hour review.

Goods/Services Payments.

1. Invoice or Money Request.
2. Send money > Goods/Services.
3. Paypal.me link (if its a personal account then there should be the option to tick a box to make it a goods/services payment before you submit payment).

Friends/Family Payments.

1. Send money > friends / family (or trusted person).
2. Paypal.me link from a personal account where you don't select the option to make it a goods/services payment.
