Apple.com cannot finish the transaction because of the invalid card

please HELP! I ordered on apple.com in September and paid by PayPal (I chose the card linked to my PayPal account). Now it is October and Apple is trying to finish the transaction and withdraw money but the card is invalid now!! (My bank forcibly reissued the card at the beginning of October). How can I change the card in my September order inside of the PayPal transaction? Apple customer service couldn't help and advised me to contact PayPal.

Welcome to the PayPal Help Community and thanks for posting your question here!

I see you're looking to change the card used to pay the order placed on Apple. Once the order is placed, you cannot change the payment method. I would suggest you to get the order canceled by contacting the merchant and place the order again by choosing a different card. You can see the merchant's contact information in the activity page by clicking on the payment.
