Already have a credit card linked, but asked to link a new one agaun

I've been trying to send money to a friend, but everytime I try to do so I keep being asked to add a new credit card to proceed with the transaction when I already have one linked

Sorry to know that you're not able to pay using your credit card linked in your account. There are some cards that are not compatible with PayPal which includes most online or virtual cards. Have you confirmed your card before initiating the transactions? If not, you can check the steps in this page to confirm your card to make the payments. 

PayPal internal security system reviews every transaction before it's approved for possible risk and may limit the payment options and ask you to try with the a different payment method. In such situations, I recommend that you to try again at a later date. If the issue persists, Please try to complete the payment using a different payment method.
