Hello I had a sum of money sent to me via family and friends and I was assured by the sender I would gain immediate access via transferring it to my bank account. This has not happened as PayPal have put a security hold on it from what I make out is 24 hours. Can someone please advise me if this is correct. It hasn't even shown in my bank account yet as uncleared funds. Any informed advise would be appreciated. Thank you.
Paypal randomly review friends/family payments for 24 hours (often shorter than that) to make sure its not being used to evade paying a seller fee instead of using goods/services.
