Who else has experienced this?
I receive my stimulus check today and use the PayPal app to take a photo of the front and back of the check and upload it.
I immediately get an email from a third party vendor called "Ingo" which tells me the check is almost done processing. The final step is I just need to write "VOID" on the check and then take a final photo showing that and upload it through the PayPal app.
So I write VOID on the check and attempt to use the PayPal app to take the picture. Now it takes the picture, but it won't submit the picture to Ingo! When you go to hit the "submit" button it simply loops you back to the "take a check" step instead of processing and submitting the check!!!!!
I tried this repeatedly over the course of an hour. Not once did it submit the check.
Then after an hour I got a second email from Ingo stating my check has now been denied because I did not upload the VOID image in time (one hour time limit).
Called, emailed and did chat message with BOTH PayPal AND Ingo and both companies are not responding at all whatsoever.
Sounds like straight up fraud to me and I am ready to contact the IRS as well as my state to start an investigation into this.
Please advise what you've experienced or what can be done to resolve this.

And now I can't take the check anywhere else to get cashed because it has VOID written on the front of it. So PayPal and Ingo have rendered my check useless....

I had to jump WAY into upper management to get my check finally cleared through PayPal. It was a nightmare. Will never cash a check through them ever again. My next two checks ($600 and $1,400) I took to the bank. Horrible, horrible experience.

PayPal restricts me from including their email addresses on this thread. However, if you look up executive team at PayPal, you can easily get all their emails. Ultimately, they forwarded my email to a manager by the name of "Gage" who then called me and resolved the issue with me. If you want Gage's direct email, you can reach out to me here[Removed. PayPal will not allow me to post any PayPal private emails on this thread, including my own.

I see they have also blocked my phone number I left you to contact me at to get Gage's direct email. I wish PayPal was this diligent about giving people access to their money! Geez!!
The executive team's email addresses are all the first initial of their first name followed by a period and then their last name at PayPal.com
