Why is my bulk payout showing as a positive instead of negative in my transactions?

I recently made my first bulk payment to many recipients. I was surprised to see the transaction had a positive amount instead of a negative amount. Isn't this money exiting my account? Why is the transaction positive?

That is how it is for Payouts, to more easily tell it apart from your payments received transactions which are typically marked in green with a plus sign.

The Payout amount should have been deducted from your PayPal balance, too.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Thanks for the reply, but isn't this very strange and a poor design choice? I'm trying to manage my taxes in quickbooks and my paypal transactions are showing money in which is technically supposed to be money out. I'm going to have to manually finagle the data in quickbooks to fix this issue. It would be much cleaner if the source data coming from PayPal could be corrected.
