How do I make a recurring payment go off my PayPal balance, not out of my bank account?

I NEVER want a recurring payment to have the default behaviour of taking it from my bank again when I purposefully move funds from my bank to PayPal so it takes payments from the PayPal balance not my bank. To make this clear, I fully understand that it will still take it from my bank account if there's insufficient funds on my PayPal. Any debate as to why I prefer it this way would a waste of time. I just need it to work this way and that's it.

In this case, please change your payment method. Updating your automatic payment method on the PayPal app:
1.Tap Wallet.
2.Scroll to the bottom and tap Automatic payments.
3.Tap the merchant to view or update.
4.You can update your preferred payment method.
I hope this helps!
