I am on the verge of cancelling my acct. I've been a customer for years but after my recent, and ongoing, dealings with Paypal "customer service" I am not sure I want such an incompetent company dealing with my money in any way shape or form.
Anybody have any suggestions? Is there a phone line that leads to some other place besides the lousey call centers they hire?

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.
OR
have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

What a joke. Your answer is as bad as the service. You think I didn't try all that? I literally spent HOURS on hold today and yesterday to get an answer that should've taken 5 minutes to answer.
Unacceptable!
