Receive money to Sri Lanka

Is it possible to receive and withdraw money from Sri Lanka please? Trying to earn online

The option to 'receive' paypal payments is sadly not available in your country.
You can only 'send' payments for purchases.

Even though it's not possible to receive money to Sri Lanka accounts; can anyone send funds to my paypal wallet? So that funds will be saved in the wallet and then I can use it to make purchases. I just wanted to make sure whether paypal can hold my funds received or they just reject any deposits because Sri Lanka doesn't support receiving money.

How can someone 'send' you funds if you can't 'receive' funds in your country?

Well, may be my understanding of this is wrong. I thought when I signup with Paypal, I get my own wallet. So, even though I cannot transfer money from my Paypal wallet to my country, someone should be possible to pay me so that funds get stored in my Paypal wallet. If it's possible then, even if I can't transfer funds to my country, I can still use the funds in the wallet to buy items (say from eBay, Amazon) etc... Isn't it the case?

You won't have a balance because you can't transfer into a balance from anywhere in your country.

You have a wallet to add a credit visa to fund purchases only.
