I attempted to make a payment to a flight operator, and after entering all details, confirmation etc, they refused to accept it, saying that it was not permitted. I then paid with a direct debit, which went smoothly. However, I'd like to know how long a payment remains pending, before being removed. The company will not be claiming the funds at any time, and I can't afford to keep the funds on my bank account, just in case.
