'Let PayPal remember this device' doesn't work if 3rd-party cookies are disabled

The new 'Let PayPal remember this device' option doesn't work on secure browsers that have anti-tracking or 3rd-party cookies disabled - which is how most tech-savvy people will have their devices configured.

I'm not sure why it would have to use 3rd-party cookies and not 1st-party ones, perhaps someone at PayPal can take a look and fix it please. Otherwise it has just added one more thing you have to click on to deselect before logging in.

I am UK based so it may be unique to the PSD2 requirements for whitelisting sites? Either way, I'm hoping a PayPal person reads this and can look in to it please

It's almost as if Paypal don't understand how technology works, or they're just trying to force customers to use their App...
