Is paypal designed as a ripoff or what.

Why are actions difficult to perform in my paypal account. If we are talking user friendly then the paypal website certainly is not!! Or then again perhaps if i update to a business account it will suddenly become a lot more responsive to more requests and in a timely manner. Holding my cash for a few days probably not worth it but if we multiply this figure by who knows 20,000 similiar amounts then we are talking serious interest to be earned on markets. Yet alas the mere client attempting to make his/her own income is **bleep**. Lack of morals/ethics is no justification for these activities.

If you need customer service assistance:

Click HELP at the top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US.

Most of these big companies are run by software that makes decisions and sometimes they are unexplainable and customer service themselves may not be able to fix because it is software.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

Yes.  Paypal has always been poorly designed.  Clunky, slow, the message center doesn't even open, so if your having trouble send them a secure message but that doesn't work.

I have the correct passwords and security questions but stupi platform wants to keep sending me text confirmation to my phone number from 3 yrs ago.  After I got logged in finaly by changing my password, it still wants to verify my identity in some cases by sending to that number despite that I've updated my phone in the settings.

Recently tried to get back on to my account to pay a vendor and it took me 2 days just to be able to login.  It still won't let me update my payment sources.  This is the last time I'm done with paypal.  This is riduculiously poor product that has bilked me fees for years.

I have a personal and business account, 1 cash card, 2 business debits, a prepaid and a Here card reader... PayPal is all but my exclusive "bank" and has been for over 4 years. I have only ever had 3 less than stellar experiences...and customer service did EXCELLENT on the first, failed on the second and hasn't been addressed about the 3rd yet as we are dealing with the virus and it is not a high priority issue. Have you tried using the app?
