Alternatives to Paypal?

With the never ending revisions, (cough) improvements "developer" solutions and general continuous modifications of PayPal, what other vendors are out there for a simple business structure (we sell 3 different things)?

I just need a simple invoicing platform like PayPal USED to be.

I don't know what a developer is but I think I want to kick them in their private parts every time I log on and see them "helping and simplifying things" for me...Even though I never asked for help.

Has anyone been able to get past the script reading phone tree people here at PayPal?

Well?  Here we go again.  I made a draft invoice and had to move on to another issue.  Saved it as a draft.... Now I c an't find it.  Used to be able to find them easily.  Not anymore...  Alternative to payPal?
