how do i cancel recurring payments/ subscriptions?

I have made a payment to a company and they have taken my purchase as authorisation to make subsequent payments without my say so. How can I cancel this?

Cancelling subscriptions is easy enough

Here’s how to cancel a subscription or recurring payment:

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2. Click ‘Profile.’
3. Click ‘My preapproved payments’ under ‘Financial Information.’ (Don’t see this step? Follow the alternative set of instructions below.)
4. Select the merchant whose agreement you want to cancel and click ‘Cancel.’
5. Click ‘Cancel Profile’ to confirm your request.

Or

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2. Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
3. Select ‘My money’.
4. In the ‘My preapproved payments’ section, click ‘Update’.
5. Select the merchant whose agreement you want to cancel and click ‘Cancel.’
6. Click ‘Cancel Profile’ to confirm your request.

              I have this same problem (cancelling a payment) i'vr tryed to follow what you say but i can not find any cancel button, am i blind, stupid or what.
