Someone has sent me a payment for £60 but a £2.24 fee has been taken have i been charged that or the sender, Plus what is this for ha

Hi Longface50,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the PayPal Community :):)
When you sell an item and receive a payment for the item you sold via PayPal you will pay a receiving fee on the funds received which will amount to 3.4% + £0.20 GBP per transaction received.
The fee is applied to the seller receiving the payment at the time the payment is received.
I hope this has clarified the charge of £2.24 GBP applied on the £60.00 GBP you received.
