Email from ebay saying I have paid £44.72 to a subscription to BBC iplayer although I have never had one. The email didn't have my name on it. I can't find the subscription on my paypal account. Please could you let me know what to do about this as I can't afford for the money to come out of my account.

Any time you receive an email about activity on your PayPal account, the safest way to confirm the emails’ validity is to log in to your PayPal account via the PayPal website (not using the links in the email received).
