I've just noticed I've had a direct debit payment taken out of my account. It says it's the first payment so can I assume this is gonna be a regular payment? And if so, what for?. I don't remember signing up for any payments to be made to PayPal via direct debit on a regular basis.

Have you bought something from a seller and used your bank account as a funding source? If so then that is what it is.
Why do you think its a regular payment?
Its like my electric bill, it gets paid by direct debit every 3 months or so but only the last one that i paid shows in my list of direct debits, it does not mean that amount will be taken monthly, only when the bill is due.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.
