My daughter is studying abroad in England and has encountered several problems with her PP student card.
Firstly, there is the issue of the magstripe (versus chipped cards) not being accepted everywhere, but that's not a problem limited to PP; that's across the US.
Secondly, the card is declined in some places with no reason given. Funds are beyond sufficient and the card works at most places [that accept the magstripe].
Thirdly, and most importantly right now, she is unable to withdraw cash from banks and ATMs. She cannot even opt for cash back at stores. It was my understanding that the card should work at any ATM that accepts debit Mastercard, but this hasn't been the case. Any explanation or advice?
