I purchased an item on ebay and received a very professional email from Paypal with shipping info, tracking number and invoice. As an eBay seller, I want to be able to send the same kind of email to my buyers. Does this automatically happen if I paste the tracking number into the Details Page for the buyer or do I have to use Paypal to ship from. Currently I use Stamps.com.
Thanks much

Hi dct,
When you enter your shipping information using the "Add Tracking Info" link The buyer receives an email to indicate you have entered the Shipment Tracking Information and Order Status associated with this transaction. The tracking number and the shipping company name are included.
Note: The information in the email sent to the buyer will appear exactly as you entered it.

Thanks Amanda for the info. Does the email sent by Paypal to the buyer also have description of the item, cost, eBay item id as well? Donna
